About this grant
The Community Learning Partnership is an initiative of Community Catalyst, a Boston-based technical assistance and advocacy organization. The purpose of the Community Learning Partnership is to engage people with extensive experience in community organizing and community development to explore ways to build a stronger infrastructure for learning in the field of community and social change. The project has three goals: 1) training a new generation of organizational development specialists and equipping them with the knowledge and capacity to work with grassroots groups; 2) expanding college-based education on community change and organizing; and 3) developing models for reconnecting veterans of community organizing with their successors to provide mentoring, training, and support.
