About this grant

The Four Freedoms Fund was created to help the philanthropic sector build and strengthen organizations working with immigrants and refugees. This grant will enable Public Interests Projects (PIP) to support the fund by providing research, analysis and consultation to the staff of various foundations who are seeking to understand more about national trends, federal and state legislative changes, and key organizations related to immigration issues.PIP was formed in 1984 to advocate for issues of timely interest to consumers and the general public. Currently, PIP operates grantmaking, technical assistance and strategic planning programs for institutional and individual donors interested in social justice and human rights issues
