About this grant

This grant will enable Springboard Forward to implement and measure the results of its career mobility and job retention services for low-wage and entry-level employees in the retail industry. To measure the effectiveness of its services, and to create change in the entry-level labor market, the grantee will partner with a major retail firm providing business solutions that increase employee productivity and retention, decrease costs, and improve management decisionmaking based on data associated with employee performance. The results of this project will be widely disseminated within the workforce development, social policy and business communities. The mission of Springboard Forward, founded in 2002, is to transform the landscape for the working poor by partnering with businesses and community organizations to promote a new model of career advancement for low-wage workers.
