Developing a New Generation of Nonprofit Leaders

This grant will support the planning stage of the Center for Community Change’s program to identify and train a new generation of leaders capable of building and managing nonprofit organizations. With an emphasis on recruiting people from low-income communities and communities of color, the project will develop new and creative methods for staff recruitment, promote existing training efforts, and utilize best practices to create new training programs to increase the scale of nonprofit leadership development in the U.S.The Center for Community Change provides technical assistance in community development, community organizing, organizational development and public policy support to grassroots community groups in low-income areas throughout the U.S.
