Improving Outcomes for Out-of-School Youth in Michigan

About this grant

This grant will enable Michigan’s Children to continue to bring attention to the issue of students failing to graduate from high school in Michigan. Over the course of this initiative, the grantee has contributed greatly to expanding the dialogue on high school graduation by working with key state departments, interagency taskforces, and communities to assess the current investments and public policies that create barriers or opportunities for young people to complete school. Recommended support will allow the grantee to sustain its presence in advancing strategies to reconnect dropouts to education and assist the grantee in restructuring and refocusing its core organizational capacity during this period.
