About this grant

This grant will provide support to the New World Foundation’s Social Justice Infrastructure Funders program, a learning community of program officers from various foundations who are working together to learn about successful and innovative philanthropic approaches to investing in the field of community organizing. A goal of the program is to help build a more robust public sector capable of creating widespread social and economic opportunity in the U.S.Since 1954, the New World Foundation has supported organizations working to strengthen and expand civil rights and encouraged active participation of citizens in American democracy.
