About this grant
This grant will enable Interfaith Action to house the New York Thruway Alliance, a coalition of PICO and Gamaliel-affiliated organizations in Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany and Rochester. The goal of the alliance is to build a leadership and constituency base to address issues of economic development and urban reinvestment in the upstate region of New York.Interfaith Action is the Rochester, New York-affiliate of the PICO National Network. Started in 1994 as a result of a community meeting called to examine the challenges confronting Rochester-area families, Interfaith Action now includes 16 member congregations working together to improve the city and the Upstate New York region.
