About this grant
This grant provides continued general purpose support to CFLeads, an organization which aims to build the leadership capacity of community foundations in the United States. Since 2007, CFLeads has been the Council on Foundations Community Foundations Leadership Team’s main implementation partner to foster community leadership. The grantee has developed frameworks and tools on community leadership for both individual community foundations and the community foundation field. The grantee has also conducted intensive workshops for networks of community foundations, hosted Webinars for hundreds of participants, designed sessions and/or presented at several philanthropic conferences, and developed coursework on public policy. The grantee is currently developing educational programming and training tools that can be more broadly disseminated and easily adapted. Over the next year, it will continue to act as the leading developmental, educational, and consulting organization on community leadership for community foundations.
