About this grant

The Genesee Chamber Foundation is a supporting organization of the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce organized to receive and administer funds for educational and charitable purposes and the public welfare of Genesee County, Michigan. This grant to the Genesee Chamber Foundation will provide funds to establish an “economic dashboard.” The Genesee Chamber Foundation will contract with the Upjohn Institute to develop a process that provides data, establishes community benchmarks, identifies needs, and prioritizes new initiatives. The Community Data and Benchmarking Project will allow the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce and Genesee Chamber Foundation to continue to play a leadership role in enhancing economic vitality, community development, and quality of life throughout Genesee County.
