About this grant
The Michigan Environmental Council, a leading statewide environmental organization, has helped coordinate the work of the environmental community on the Great Lakes Compact and related water management policy reforms. With this grant increase and associated grant period extension, the council will continue to work with partner groups to promote the compact and help implement new water-use policies recently adopted by the state.
