About this grant
This grant will enable the Boston Private Industry Council to continue to convene and support a citywide partnership aimed at addressing and raising the visibility of the dropout crisis. Through this project, the grantee has successfully led and convened the Boston Youth Transitions Taskforce in piloting specific programmatic interventions and advancing a policy agenda that strengthens districtwide efforts and increases resources and supports to improve outcomes for dropouts. During the next stage of this project, the Boston Private Industry Council will deepen its work and begin to identify ways to design, fund, build, and sustain a portfolio of new educational pathways and options that meet the demands and needs of dropouts.
