About this grant

Pressures on Lake Superior, and the Great Lakes generally, are on the rise, but new opportunities to positively influence Great Lakes policy in Minnesota and regionally are also presenting themselves. To capitalize on such opportunities, the Minnesota Environmental Partnership, a statewide network of groups engaged in environmental protection, helped develop the Minnesota Great Lakes Agenda in early 2007. This grant will provide partial support for the implementation of the agenda by the partnership and other stakeholders. Water quality issues and related concerns will be addressed through a variety of means such as policy work, media communications, and public outreach.
