About this grant
This grant provides operating support to the Michigan Nonprofit Association for NPower Michigan, now a program of the association as the result of a recent merger. NPower Michigan is a member of a national network of providers of high quality, unbiased, affordable, and appropriate technology assistance to nonprofit organizations. NPower Michigan has assisted more than 400 Michigan nonprofits since starting operations in 2002 through consulting, training, and publications. Mott funding will enable NPower Michigan to complete the transition from an independent entity to a program of the Michigan Nonprofit Association, as well as to make a transition to a new business model. NPower Michigan projects that it will be able to generate all its income from fees for services by 2009 through offerings which will include technology assessments, project implementation consulting, help desk and remote assistance, and annual technology budgeting advice.
