Promising Practices in Afterschool: Global Literacy

About this grant

This grant will support the Asia Society in its efforts to raise awareness, build capacity, and stimulate new initiatives in integrating global literacy into afterschool programs. The Asia Society will identify an advisory group to help collect, promote, and disseminate promising practices for the afterschool field. To ensure that afterschool stakeholders have access to this information, a print guide, video, and companion Web site will provide concrete examples and steps on how to successfully plan and integrate global literacy in both existing and newly established afterschool and summer programs.
