About this grant

Faith Action for Community Equity is an institution-based, community organization in Hawaii. Now affiliated with the Gamaliel Foundation, the grantee was established with the assistance of the Center for Community Change through Mott’s Intermediary Support for Organizing Communities program. The organization has grown steadily and now has a membership base of 53 institutions representing people from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds on the islands of Oahu and Maui. This grant will provide general purpose support to the organization.
