About this grant

Kettering University, the only fully cooperative engineering and management university in the United States, has been an integral component of Flint’s higher education system since 1919. The university has 2,134 full-time undergraduate and 466 graduate students for the 2008-2009 academic year. This renewal grant will provide partial funding for components of a multiyear series of initiatives aimed at increasing enrollment, providing merit-based scholarships for incoming students, and raising $125 million to support campus growth and the endowment.
