About this grant
This grant will enable School & Main Institute to continue to develop and model a new high school design entitled Schools for the Future. Schools for the Future is an alternative education model designed especially for students who are far behind academically, including those who have dropped out and are now interested in earning a diploma and preparing for postsecondary education and career training. Recommended support will allow the grantee to fully develop the tools, curriculum, and training modules necessary to implement and pilot the Schools for the Future model in one to three interested school districts in 2011-2012.
