About this grant
Communities dealing with chemical pollution problems face technical issues that can be extremely complex. The Center for Health, Environment and Justice, a national organization now in its 30th year, plays a critical role by providing technical assistance to local groups addressing such toxic waste issues and by networking local groups so that they can learn from one another, connect with nontraditional partners, and speak with a collective voice. Mott’s general purpose support will help the center maintain and expand its technical assistance programs and support state-specific efforts to promote children’s health and more protective chemical use policies.
