About this grant
Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to developing full participation for Asian and Pacific Islanders in work and community opportunities through leadership, empowerment, and policy. It has a very successful leadership curriculum which includes a focus on philanthropic leadership. For this Leadership Through Philanthropy project, the grantee has partnered with the National Black MBA Association, National Black United Fund, National Society of Hispanic MBAs, and Volunteer Consulting Group to redesign and modify the curriculum to fit the needs of the Latino and African-American communities. The end goal is to foster and train leaders and, in the process, teach their members and constituents about the critical role that philanthropy plays in their larger leadership responsibilities.
