About this grant
This grant provides support to the Center for Public Policy Priorities to enhance the reach and effectiveness of "RAISE Texas," a statewide coalition formed in 2005 to expand access to asset-building products and financial education for low- and moderate-income Texans. Objectives for the three-year grant period are to: 1) expand the coalition’s influence by increasing and diversifying the membership; 2) advance statewide, asset-building policies, products, and programs; and 3) measure the impact and effectiveness of specific asset-building activities. This is one of eight grants aimed at building the capacity of state asset-building coalitions to effectively promote the development of state asset policies.
