About this grant
Established in 1988, the American Arab Heritage Council serves the needs of Arab-Americans and other recent immigrants in Genesee County through programming such as diversity education, cultural programming, and immigration services. This renewal grant will provide support to the grantee for immigration and translation services. During the grant period, the project will continue to help immigrants from all backgrounds navigate the American legal system and become acclimated to life in Genesee County by providing immigration forums, training volunteers to assist with immigration casework, and offering citizenship classes.
