About this grant

This grant will provide support for the Immigration Services project operated by the American Arab Heritage Council whose purpose is to preserve Arabic heritage and support for Arab Americans in Genesee County. Over time, programming has expanded to include diversity education, interfaith dialogues, and immigration services. With this support, the grantee will help immigrants navigate the American legal system and become acclimated to life in Genesee County by providing immigration forums, training volunteers to assist with immigration casework, and offering citizenship classes.
