About this grant
This renewal grant provides general purpose support to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint. Focusing on education, creativity, physical activity and health, and family support services, the grantee offers year-round programming to over 3,500 children, ages 7-17, at two locations in the city of Flint: the Averill Avenue site and the Haskell Community Center. Additionally, the grantee houses the staff director for the National Service Accelerator Initiative, which provides matching funds for Flint area nonprofit agencies utilizing volunteers through any of the Corporation for National and Community Service programs.
