About this grant
Third World Network Berhad was established in 1987 as an international network of organizations and individuals involved in research and policy analysis of global issues and their impact on developing countries. Over the last two years, the grantee was able to provide key policy analyses related to the United Nations’ climate negotiations that assisted developing country negotiators and civil society. With this grant renewal, the grantee will contribute to the development of policies that assist poor developing countries address climate change, in particular the development of the Green Climate Fund, a new international funding mechanism. The grantee will also provide important capacity building activities for developing country nongovernmental organizations, as well as country negotiators working on the international climate agreement.
