About this grant

This project supports the IPS-Inter Press Service in Montevideo, Uruguay to increase the quality and quantity of journalistic coverage of Brazilian development finance of energy and infrastructure in South America and globally. This project will focus on exploring the role that Brazil is playing in large-scale investments in energy through its national development bank and in the emerging development bank of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. IPS-Inter Press Service is a global news agency operating in more than 100 countries that has been working in Latin America for four decades and has a network of journalists reporting from every country in the region.
