About this grant

This grant will support Fundación Ambiente y Recursos Naturales to monitor the effective implementation of environmental sustainability, transparency, and public participation rules and policies in energy projects supported by international financial institutions, the Brazilian Development Bank, and other sources of public finance in Argentina. Information generated will be disseminated to policymakers, media, and the public with the goals of shaping policies for future sustainable energy investments and building networks with organizations across South America that are monitoring energy investments. The grantee is a nongovernmental, environmental organization based in Buenos Aires that has worked for the past 25 years to promote sustainable development through policy, law, and civic engagement.
