About this grant
This grant will enable the Youth Connection Charter School to continue to develop and model a blended high school, postsecondary, and career training initiative entitled the Career Pathways Program. The program accelerates the progress of off-track students toward graduation, postsecondary matriculation, professional credentialing, and career track training over a three-year course of study. Currently, there are eight schools, serving nearly 900 students, piloting the Career Pathways Program. Recommended support will enable the grantee to further develop this model, which provides students with an opportunity to earn a high school credential and college credit focused on a career area.
