About this grant
This grant will enable the Youth Connection Charter School to develop the Career Pathways Program. Founded in 1997, the grantee is a multisite alternative high school network that provides students a second chance to earn a high school diploma and prepare for higher education and the world of work. The Career Pathways Program is an effort to accelerate the progress of off-track students toward graduation, postsecondary matriculation, professional credentialing, and career track training. Recommended support will enable the grantee to pilot a model that provides students an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and college credit focused in a career area.
