About this grant
This renewal grant provides general purpose support to the Center for Community Progress to further its mission of combating the negative effects of property vacancy and abandonment in post-industrial urban areas, with a special focus on assisting Flint neighborhoods to recover from the adverse effects of the water crisis. Headquartered in Flint and with an office in Washington, D.C., the grantee addresses these issues at the federal, state, and local levels through a combination of research, policy reform and advocacy, technical assistance and capacity building, and communications programs.
