About this grant

The Nonprofit Employment Data Project charts nonprofit employment, wages, and finances over time and in relation to other industries. A collaboration between the Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Civil Society Studies, state employment security agencies, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and state nonprofit associations, the project offers the most up-to-date, in-depth analyses now available on economic aspects of the nonprofit sector. Having configured and integrated U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and other data into a single database, the center is developing a public access Web site. This grant increase will allow for the full development, testing, marketing, and initial operating costs for the site.
