About this grant

This grant provides general purpose funds to support the array of outdoor, educational, and leadership programming offered through the Boy Scouts of America – Tall Pine Council to children, youth, and their families in Genesee, Lapeer, and Shiawassee counties. The grantee operates two camp sites within the tricounty area. In addition to serving youth who participate in the area’s various boy scout and cub scout troops, Tall Pine Council operates an urban scouting program that serves urban youth who are economically and educationally at risk.
