About this grant
This grant will support the Foundation for the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation’s efforts to promote safety and security in downtown Flint. The grantee is dedicated to supporting revitalization projects that enhance quality of life and provide local and regional access to jobs, food, healthcare, and other essential services. The Uptown Reinvestment Corporation, a supported organization of the Foundation for the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation, will contract services of uniformed security guards to patrol the areas around the 400 and 500 blocks of South Saginaw Street and the adjacent Health and Wellness District.
