About this grant
Over the past three decades, the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research at Michigan State University has built a reputation for applying cutting-edge research to pressing public policy issues and building problem-solving relationships between the academic and policymaker communities. One of its premier programs is the Legislative Leadership Program, an educational program for newly elected state policymakers that provides information and dialogue about critical issues. This grant will enable the institute to include the topic of Michigan’s transportation system and related policy considerations as an area of focus within the 2010 Legislative Leadership Program.
