About this grant
The goal of Balkan Investigative Reporting Network Kosovo is to enhance public participation in decisionmaking processes by improving accountability and transparency of public service administration at local levels in Kosovo. The grantee will combine hard-hitting journalism and civic activism to encourage people to be informed and engaged in this critical period in Kosovo’s history. Specific activities will include training investigative journalists and field researchers, producing four television programs per month focused on justice in Kosovo, publishing annual monitoring reports on key issues, and producing 100 episodes of its flagship "Life in Kosovo" current affairs television program. The grantee is a registered nongovernmental organization in Kosovo based in Pristina and part of a Balkan network of similar organizations in six countries (each with the same name).
