About this grant
This grant will enable the Greater New Orleans Development Foundation to research and map emerging post-disaster economies related to disaster mitigation and response and environmental cleanup in Louisiana. The project will foster public/private partnerships between industry and area community colleges that will result in curriculum and program changes designed to provide appropriate training and certifications so that a local workforce is available to meet the demands of emerging economies in a particular region.
