About this grant
This planning grant to Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan, Inc., will support the creation of an alternative staffing organization in Genesee County, Michigan. Alternative staffing organizations provide job brokering for workers who face significant barriers to employment and deliver commercial staffing services for customers who need workers. Once under way, the program will place individuals in temporary jobs as a way of building skills, creating work histories, and eventually, attaining permanent jobs.
