About this grant
The Flint National Service Accelerator Fund helps Flint area agencies leverage state and national service members through the Corporation for National and Community Service and its affiliates. Flint area service members support projects aligned with the City of Flint’s master plan and the Corporation for National and Community Service priorities including education, public safety, health, and the environment. Focus areas in Flint include community education, literacy, urban safety, nutrition, and assisting Flint residents and nonprofits to recover from the Flint water crisis. Matching grants provide resources to local nonprofit agencies for the required member cost share, training, and travel reimbursement. The fund is held at the Community Foundation of Greater Flint and is administered in partnership with the United Way of Genesee County.
