About this grant
This project would support the Interamerican Association for Environmental Defense, a nonprofit environmental law and policy organization that brings together a skilled team of experts in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and the United States to participate in the review processes and international negotiations that guide energy and infrastructure investments in Latin America. The grantee will focus on promoting compliance with international norms and standards on environmental sustainability, particularly in the areas of energy investments and climate-related investments. Support will also be provided to strengthen and expand the coalition of nongovernmental organizations working toward sustainable energy and investment policies in South America.
