About this grant

The Great Lakes Environmental Law Center is a not-for-profit, public interest, environmental organization established in 2008 to protect the Great Lakes and the communities that depend upon them. With this grant, the grantee will work with freshwater groups and citizens to maintain and improve Great Lakes water quality protections related to toxics, nonpoint source pollution, invasive species, and other sources of contamination. The grantee will also help ensure that each Great Lakes state meets the requirements set by the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact.
