About this grant
This grant will provide support to US Ignite to develop and expand ultrafast broadband network applications in Flint, Michigan. The grantee was established by the Office of Science and Technology Policy, Executive Office of the President of the United States, and the National Science Foundation. The grantee’s goal is to bring together government entities, academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, and technology companies for the development of applications and services to operate over ultrafast broadband networks in six priority areas, including healthcare, energy, education, transportation, public safety, and advanced manufacturing.
