About this grant
LearnPhilanthropy is a collaborative program to build an online, fieldwide hub for grantmaker learning. The project is being developed by a network of grantmakers and philanthropy support professionals so that the philanthropic infrastructure can more efficiently and effectively serve the field. Incubated by the Council on Foundations and the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, LearnPhilanthropy currently has 30 content partners consisting of a wide variety of philanthropic support organizations. This grant will enable LearnPhilanthropy to transition to being hosted at the Johnson Center for Philanthropy, a unit of the College of Community and Public Service at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The grant will also support completing a Web redesign process; expanding the number of new content sources; developing new partnerships with philanthropic journals, infrastructure organizations, and other content providers; and defining and implementing a business model that will lead to sustainable funding.
