About this grant
LearnPhilanthropy is a collaborative initiative to build an online, fieldwide hub for grantmaker learning. The project was developed by a network of grantmakers and philanthropy support professionals so that the philanthropic infrastructure can more efficiently and effectively serve the field. Incubated by the Council on Foundations and the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, LearnPhilanthropy is now hosted by the Johnson Center for Philanthropy, a unit of the College of Community and Public Service at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It currently has 59 content partners consisting of a wide variety of philanthropic support organizations. This grant will support establishing online training opportunities for new grantmakers, the continued development of content partner relationships, improving site design, increasing user traffic, maintaining and developing relationships with other philanthropy infrastructure organizations, developing a sustainable revenue model, and aligning resources within the Johnson Center’s Institute for Foundation and Donor Learning.
