About this grant
This grant will support iBase, the Brazilian Institute of Social and Economic Analysis, to work with other nongovernmental groups and communities in South America affected by the operations of the Brazilian Development Bank. Work will focus on capacity building and joint strategy development to improve transparency and strengthen social and environmental safeguards, particularly as they apply to energy and infrastructure development in Brazil and the region.
