About this grant
This grant will provide general purpose support to the Court Street Village Non-Profit Housing Corporation to carry out its mission to improve central city neighborhoods adjacent to downtown Flint. Founded in 1986, the grantee engages with stakeholders to enact comprehensive strategies for neighborhood stabilization and revitalization. The grantee will continue to pilot its Neighborhood Investment for Community Enhancement Initiative launched in 2013 in the Central Park neighborhood. If the concept proves successful, the grantee plans to replicate the model in other central city locations.
