About this grant
This grant will provide general purpose support to Court Street Village Non-Profit Housing Corporation to carry out its mission to improve central city neighborhoods in Flint. Founded in 1986, the grantee engages stakeholders in the areas surrounding downtown Flint in developing and enacting comprehensive strategies for neighborhood stabilization and renewal. Support will enable the grantee to maintain a full-time staff person to oversee neighborhood improvement efforts, and will assist the grantee in piloting the Neighborhood Investment for Community Enhancement initiative in Central Park. If successful, the grantee plans to replicate the program in other neighborhoods.
