About this grant

The goal of the What’s Next for Community Philanthropy project is to engage the community foundation field in exploring new and existing models and approaches for serving their communities through an innovation and design process. The project will involve three workstreams: 1) discovery and framing; 2) interactive design sessions; and 3) synthesis, documentation, testing, and sharing. Final outputs will include a short report, a series of speeches and Webcasts, a Web site, creative tools such as infographics and consultations to help community foundations to prototype, and pilot new approaches. This grant increase will support development of additional accessible, user-friendly products, and their broad dissemination. The What’s Next for Community Philanthropy project will be led by the Monitor Institute, which has recently become part of the global strategy firm Deloitte Consulting LLP and is a separate sub-brand underneath Monitor Deloitte.
