About this grant
The Young Women’s Christian Association is the oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization in the world and has served Flint and Genesee County communities for over 100 years with a mission of empowering women and eliminating racism. This grant will provide funding to the YWCA of Greater Flint to support a number of important programs offered by the organization including Nina’s Place Transitional Living Center, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services, and SafeHouse Emergency Shelter.
