About this grant

This grant will enable the Aspen Institute’s Economic Opportunities Program to explore how microenterprise and sectoral employment strategies can connect youth to productive employment pathways. The project builds on the Foundation’s grantmaking legacy in workforce development by pivoting these strategies toward a focus on youth. Located in Washington, D.C., the Aspen Institute works to develop practical leadership in today’s world. It accomplishes this mission through nonpartisan seminars and policy programs designed for leaders in business, government, the media, education, the arts, and the independent sector from democratic societies worldwide.
