Sustainable Development Finance in South America

About this grant

The Asociacion Ambiente y Sociedad is a Colombian nonprofit organization specializing in research, monitoring, and advocacy related to investment and development finance in Colombia and South America. Over the last grant period, the grantee worked with regional coalitions to strengthen Chinese social and environmental commitments in its overseas investments. This grant renewal will support the grantee’s efforts to monitor Chinese investment, as well as implementation of the new social and environmental framework of the World Bank Group and engage in the process of updating the Inter-American Development Bank safeguards framework.
