About this grant
The goal of the Community Foundations and Family Philanthropy program is to enhance the effectiveness of families working with community foundations as their giving partners. With input from a community foundation advisory group, the National Center for Family Philanthropy will: 1) develop new programming and resources for families working with community foundations; 2) develop new programming and resources for community foundation staff and board members; 3) improve the center’s capacity, through technology and direct outreach, to engage giving families and staff at community foundations; and 4) build a network of subscribers to its online resources, FP Online, among the community foundation field. The National Center for Family Philanthropy, located in Washington, D.C., is the only national resource center that focuses solely on matters of importance to families engaged in philanthropy and their effective giving.
